Hi, I'm Ana, a creative lead with a background in copywriting and art-based research. Over the past 10 years, I have developed campaigns for brands like Ford, Coca-Cola, and KitKat, co-founded a small creative consultancy, and an experimental architecture studio. I've also run a weekly newsletter (a love letter to Wikipedia), researched the end of the world on top of a mountain in Switzerland, and my work as an artist has been exhibited in Brazil and abroad. Additionally, I'm a proud certified electrician, in case you need one. After reading too many Sherlock Holmes books as a child, I grew passionate about problem-solving, and I believe that creative hands-on work is an awesome tool for that.

In 2016 KitKat launched the campaign Breaks that Changed the World, created by JWT. Mutato, the agency responsible for KitKat's social media, called us (as galapagos.ooo) to create the development of this campaign on the content realm.

The strategy was to create exclusive spin-off content out of the two TV commercials, which had Freud and Pedro Álvares Cabral as its main characters. We wrote and shoot more than micro-scripts which became react stickers, GIF's, 5" clips and even had content ready for the Olympic Games, which were approaching on the calendar.

Right after that we took on the mission of translating the social media strategy created by Mutato into content. Here's small collection of the fun work we got to do that year.
